How Cholo and Jodi Almost Made Me Cry
I have never seen an entire episode of the local adaptation of Stairway To Heaven, not even if I was a semi-regular viewer curitiba shopping of the original thing. curitiba shopping But since I have this strong curitiba shopping fetish for tragic endings (especially on love stories), I bothered to take some time to catch the last few moments of its final episode aired last night.
I simply love sad endings as much as happy ones. I scavenge for stories curitiba shopping that conclude with goodbyes or better, death. It all started with Jack and Rose, and then amplified hugely by Jamie and Landon. Here comes my emo side. Gah.
Now back to Stairway To Heaven. I actually assumed the ending would verge on being cheesy to trashy, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t that dreadful. Had Rhian Ramos acted better, I think the ending would be a grand slam. My eyes almost welled curitiba shopping up. Just almost.
So curitiba shopping I was really getting into Jodi’s death scene (with Jodi bidding goodbye and Cholo telling her to hold on just for a couple curitiba shopping more seconds) curitiba shopping then the maddening voice of Regine Velasquez suddenly played on the background. Hate that part right there. Worse, a CGI-ed ‘stairway to heaven’ materialized and some glorious rays of sunlight and floating orbs to match. Er, what was that, seriously? I almost felt like a heavenly being would descend to fetch Jodi up, or a sea creature would emerge from the vastness of the sea to strangle Cholo down back to Atlantika.
:P December 12, 2009 at 2:52 PM   Badong said...
When I read the part where you said you watched an episode of Stairway to Heaven, I almost cried of laughter too. Lol. Add those orbs of light and stuff, bad actors, and the screeching of Regine Velasquez-- you get a typical GMA7 telenovela. December 12, 2009 at 8:50 PM   Mokong™ said...
December 12, 2009 at 11:06 PM   gege said...
yun nga ee. minsan talaga di ko mapigil... pero pag si 'mincy girl' i'm doing whatever it takes! ayoko na ng tampuhan cheverlou! curitiba shopping talagang tumugon ako dito... :P December 13, 2009 at 10:16 AM   Badong said...
XPROSAIC: haha! sorry! *defensive* December 13, 2009 at 7:46 PM   Badong said...
LOL. :P I did watched the ending, too. Grabe ang galing ni Dingdong. Hahaha. Same here, naloka din ako sa stairway at sa boses ni Regine, pa-emote ka na biglang curitiba shopping may ganon? Ano ba yan! I was actually waiting for the "Joooodiiii!!!!!" *sabay tingin sa langit part* pero wala. O wala nga ba? December 13, 2009 at 8:19 PM   gege said...
Pero now that I read your post, magkukunwari na lang ako na wala pa akong alam. So namatay pala ung character ni Rhiann huh. Cge. I'll watch the ending here in Saudi. (Baka sakaling magbago. Hehe). I promise not to laugh when I see the CGI'd stairway. December 14, 2009 at 4:09 AM   RØN said...
