December 15th! The wait is over. Caribbean, I'm on my way; But first there was a trip to Miami Beach. Flights went to Fort Lauderdale via Munich and Charlott (USA) and I landed about 8:30 p.m. local time. A short time later I picked out the car hire, a Ford Mustang Cab, I had booked in advance. I Cruset few minutes later down I-95 toward Miami Beach and hotel on Ocean Drive, right on the beach. Where waited Ella me, my new traveling companion, on the road to Bequia and Christmas on the sailboat. Ella was along for the ride last little and is a friend of Bjorn Anders and Lars. The whole thing actually began with a voicemail: "Hi my name is Ella to be with you on a trip to the Caribbean" ...
I arrived Miami Beach right before at 22 and then most of the day disappeared in traveling. I picked up Ella outside the hotel for a small cruising down Ocean Drive with the top down. No snow, no cold, just warm breezes and views to enjoy, with beach, palm trees and art deco hotels.
Friday was devoted to shopping and we plotted Sawgrass Mill Mall on the GPS, after tips from Lars. It should be one of the larger shoppingmalls in Florida, and that was it. It is up to Fort Lauderdale, so for me it was the almost back and forth and equidistant within a day .. but what does it .. is the holiday. And when it is also fun to drive Mustang as the tour went radig away on its own express lanes a piece of road.
At Sawgrass Mill Mall we were almost all day until dark, and when we sat in the car to return to Miami I had simply out-shopped Ella, and we should both feel that we ended up with for myebaggasje next check and had to check in an extra bag. We ended the day on a Cuban restaurant in downtown Miami, with good "local" food and Cuban beer.
When we got back to the hotel, there was still some life left in me, while Ella felt to lie. I therefore took a little jГЎtГ©kboltok trip out alone and went down Ocean Drive until I found a more local bar and sat there me down and talked and drank a bit with "local" for a while until I found out that I should return home. On the road came the idea of a nattbad, which was very delicious, but forgot the brand that I had not handmade, so it was a wet walk home.
Since we had a car we had the advantage there and Saturday, the plan was to drive around a bit, including to an alligator farm and see a bit of the Everglades area. On the way I'd find a couple camera parlors and check the price of a couple of cameras. I needed a or two new cameras. The "good old" Ixus 80 was time to replace. Since I was going to the Caribbean was a waterproof camera and a little better for all other images in the list, but I was not looking for a full-size SLR. It can also be added to the story that Sony NEX-5N were not obtainable in the Florida area, and it waterproof TX10 was cheapest "in the middle of" Miami Beach. Luckily for me as I had not bought it until I found it in Miami Beach. Finally I had a camera to replace my old "party camera" from 2008 (Ixus 80).
The evening got Ella responsibility when she started talking about the Top-10 jГЎtГ©kboltok teams in Miami and how her friends had been in May .. She googled a bit and got a list and we arrived at a few clubs, Dream and LIFE, which could be good. We traveled first to Dream, but it was Hip Hop tonight, how much fun than it could be to see Ella at high still after and "dig" Hip Hop so it was turned down 1-1: p We therefore took a taxi on to LIFe as lying in 44th St and arrived to a queue that was not a queue. Here it was snout factor and number ladies one could "obtain instead" that was the thing. Stood beside one who boasted that he alone had brought four ladies. So not seem to impress the guards ... So then it was good that Ella had my beautiful face as we entered ... (was well surely the other way around, and that we were relatively well dressed and little Bedew). But it was not cheap.
